2. Selection Process, Exam pattern and Syllabus
The selection process of Sub Inspector/ Sub Inspectress at WB Police will comprise of
- Written Test- two papers:
- Main Exam
- Qualifying type local language test (50 questions and 1 hour duration)
- Physical Efficiency Test:
- Physical Standards:
- Male: Height- 167 cm; Chest- Min. 79 cm un-expanded & 84 cm when expanded
- Female: Height- 160 cm
- Physical Efficiency Test:
- Male: Race- 800 mtrs in 3 minutes; Long Jump- 14 feet; High Jump- 3’9” feet
- Female: Race- 400 mtrs in 2 minutes; Long Jump- 10 feet; High Jump- 3 feet
- Physical Standards:
