2. Selection Process, Exam pattern and Syllabus
The selection process of Constable at Punjab Police will comprise of
- Written Test- two papers:
- Main Exam
- Qualifying type local language test (50 questions and 1 hour duration)
- Physical Efficiency Test:
- Physical Standards:
- Male: Height- 170 cm; Chest- Min. 80 cm un-expanded & 85 cm when expanded
- Female: Height- 158 cm
- Physical Efficiency Test:
- Male: Race- 1600 mtrs in 6 minutes; Long Jump- 3.80 meters; High Jump- 1.10 meters
- Female: Race- 800 mtrs in 4 minutes; Long Jump- 2.75 meters; High Jump- 0.90 meters
