2. Selection Process, Exam pattern and Syllabus
The selection process of Agril. Extension Asstt, Stenographer, Asst & Others at Assam Agriculture Dept will comprise of
- First Phase Test: Duration of the Written Test- 2 hours; 100 marks with 100 questions; OMR based. Negative marking of 1⁄2 (half) mark for each wrong answer.
- Second Phase Test: Computer based exam to test the knowledge of the posts applied and
proficiency in computer operations and Shorthand Test for those candidates who have applied for the post of Stenographer and Steno-Typist.
