2. NTA UGC NET 2020: Syllabus & Exam pattern

The Exam pattern and Syllabus of UGC National Eligibility Test conducted by National Testing Agency will be as follows:

  1. Computer Based Test (CBT)– 180 minutes (03 hours); No break between Paper 1 & Paper 2-
    1. Paper 1– 50 Questions of 100 Marks
      • Syllabus- Designed to test reasoning ability, reading comprehension, divergent thinking and general awareness of the candidate.
    2. Paper 2– 100 Questions of 200 Marks
      • Syllabus- Subject selected by the candidate and will assess domain knowledge.
    3. NO negative marking for incorrect response
